Rpg Admin

so basically we cant get help late at night then, we would have to wait. its just im tired of waiting.

We are not obligated to have to fix your problems late at night, if it will destroy our health from lack of sleep. We work here at these forums on a voluntary basis. We are not here because it's our real life job. Just deal with the fact that this forum isn't exactly popular yet, does not require a large team of staff, and hence the chance that there will be fewer staff members on all the time. Furthermore, we don't all have the same areas of expertise. I may be on, and so will VS and Tethar, but that doesn't mean we know how to fix the problem. We are not responsible for what the other staff have expertise in. If we notice that they're somehow not doing their jobs, then it will be discussed and they will either stay or we will demod them. However, this is not something that happens over a mere 24 hours or less. Staff decisions can take time. We don't do things without letting other staff members know because it is wiser to have it discussed.

Any and all problems will be fixed when the admin or mod with the ability to fix them has a chance to fix them.

Have no fear we take our jobs seriously and when we have something to do, we do it. Just please understand we are only so many people and we can only do so much at a time.

For now, enjoy the rest of the boards. You came here originally for the forum topics, and the shoutbox I guess? The RPG is additional feature, and whilst problems are being dealt with, just post on the main forum, that's why we are all here ^_^

If I knew of the lives of the staff responsible for fixing the problems, I could tell you. But I do not. We could give you a time when they may be fixed, but things happen, and we may not be able to fix a problem at the time we say we will. It just makes it worse for the people who expect it to be fixed by that time.

Some staff members do not like being continually pestered.

Depending on how you word your PMs or posts, you may either come across as a pest or someone who gives occasional reminders for the good of the site. If you intend to remind staff members, do so in moderation.

If you do not have the patience, that is unfortunate, I'm afraid.

I am not trying to be a pest I am a good reminder type of person and I have reminded posted and others as well have done the same and this has benn going on for a long time my guess a week and to think taht the problem would be fixed. If u want the RPG to be a hit then everything needs to work and I dont see how this is going to help with the same problem everyone is having. I dont mean to be pestered either I am simply telling u guys and eveyone I have no problems with anu of the staff members. I just simply ask questions and thats it.

We will see about that. Whether you try to be a pest or not is not the same as being one. If you truly aren't a pest, then show that you aren't.

Again, just give it some time. Things don't happen overnight. You want a well done job, then give it some time. You want a poorly done job, then you can let your impatience take control.

lol Again I am not trying to be a pest I am not buging any staff members and I have been proving alot of stuff welcoming alot of members, bringing members, sharing advice, helping others with RPG, giving stuff to staff and members. What more can I possibly do! This again problem for buying stuff has been going for a week and knowing SPLATT and Larxene they can fix things like nothing. Basically there is only 1 RPG Admin from what I see so maybe DC can be RPG Admin and fix it.

ok i understand that staff has other lives and that they can fix it when they can but if u promoted a person to staff u would want them to be on atleast once a day and be able to do their jobs. im not saying that the staff isnt doing their jobs. its just i feel that the two rpg admins could atleast be on once aday to check on the forum. atleast know whats going on and also let us know that they know and when they will be able to fix the said problem

There are certain things we don't let normal forum members know, like staff specific discussions and decisions. The least we can do is post updates and what may be implemented. Asking for any more than that may be impossible, since from experience, some people like to bitch and complain about what's being done, which isn't very constructive. Like I said, we don't live each and every other staff member's lives, and we don't know if they can fix everything at the said time. I barely have enough time to post here; anything beyond that would take up more time. Granted, I could still make changes at least once a week, if required.

Ok so basically there wont be another rpg admin added.

if we have a problem with the rpg just wait a while.

dont complain too much about a problem

and thats it. if you can say yes too all this i think the problem is solved.

Pretty much. If we needed another RPG Administrator, that would be a staff affair, and we would contact the people involved with it. Of course, if you have a problem with anything at all, you're allowed to address it. Just don't make a big fuss about it just because we're busy or can't be there all the time. Anyways, there's been a thread created for RPG problems, so people can post there. I'll be here to answer questions as best I can, but I've been told to leave the RPG section alone.

There's really no problem with what we've been saying; it's just that some people don't take what we say to mind, or go through the points too quickly and miss out on what has been said.

Well I seriously think you should have an RPG Admin who is on heaps and doesn't mind answering questions, even if they are dumb ones. I know they are working on it, but it just seems they aren't that involved. Either that or I could ask the RPG Admin at GZE to come fix it.
