Roxas vs. Sora

Gah!!! I wuvvles both of them... Sora because he's like Cloud. And Roxas because HE'S like Cloud too.

Can I say... SorOxas?:gonk:
 
Who wouldn't love sora, you spend more time with him, grow up with him, and slay heartless upon heartless with him but even roxas has his moments. It's sad that the boy doesn't get the time he deserves with the friends he made but it all moves on and sora pulls out on top :D
 
I personally prefer Roxas. He is just plain awesome. Well, you could've guessed who I prefer by looking at my sig and avatar....

But anyway, for anyone who hates Roxas: :charge:

  • Loyal
  • Happy!
  • Kicks Ass
  • He is the original
  • I love the friendship he has between Riki, Kairi, Donald, Goofy etc.
  • I like his shoes...;))..but not really haha.
Roxas didn't make the cut because
  • He is too depressing
  • Isn't as bad ass as Sora
  • Not too friendly
Buuuuut I love them both, awesome characters :-)

That is a toughie. but ROXAS EPIC WINS in my mind, but you all love sora.

I don't know why I like Roxas over Sora I just do, Roxas looks way cooler and he looks better. Lus he is more skilled with keyblades, HE HAS TWO! He was in the organisation which is a little bit awesome as well. And he has to deal witht he fact that he doesnt exist and that everybone he knows isn't real (besides namine and axel).

You say you like sora because he has real ties with his friends... Roxas has to find out that his friends aren't real. I think Roxas and Sora should split again so we could have more Roxas and see a heartless sora (not a shadow, like an ansem heartless maybe).

I think many people can relate to sora, but they can't with Roxas because Roxas's trauma is impossible to deal with and to happen
 
Definitely Sora. The first Kingdom Hearts game is by far my favorite in the series, and Sora stars as its main character. To me, Roxas isn't even in the same league as Sora in terms of his significance. He's just a random addition to the series...and not a very good one, in my opinion. He robbed me of 5 hours of enjoyment on Kingdom Hearts 2.

Don't know, man. Really, who I like depends on my mood.

If I'm happy, then Sora (cuz, you know, he's that happy-go-lucky type).

If I'm sad, then Roxas (depressed-emotionally-conflicted Cloud-syndrome type).

If I'm pissed off, then Riku (I don't know how the heck he got into this).
 
This is too hard :gonk: Sora is much more awesome in KH2 than KH1, but Roxas is cool after he decides to leave the Organization. But Sora is a little too childish at 15, but Roxas was a little too emo during the events of 358/2 days. :hmmm: If it comes down to the end of it, I will have to say Roxas, due to all he has been through in the Organization. Sora has the abilities he has due to Roxas re-uniting with him. If it wasnt for Roxas, Sora's power wouldnt be enough to even beat him, let alone all the other enemies.
 
Roxas wouldn't have the power he has if it wasn't for Sora. He's half of Sora meaning you could argue Sora wasn't at full str when he faced Ansem and yet he still won. So Split they'd be an even match. Can't really compare the two when Sora is whole in my opinion. Both where incredibly powerful separate. I'm of the opinion that Roxas had a heart since you need a strong heart to wield the keyblade. Can't really have a strong heart if you don't have one. The same probably goes for Namenie but she never had a keyblad but still had power over memories. This is just bassed on KH/2. Haven't played the DS game yet so let me know if things about the keyblade has changed. I just remember the first game telling you that was needed to wield a keyblade. And I'm assuming Namanie can use one since Kairi can. That said, if I played 358/2 I'd probably like Roxas more but right now I've only seen of him what's shown in KH2. That said, I'd still probably go with Roxas since he seemed like a more realistic char. Someone you could relate to more. I like Sora but he's too perky.

I like how the first commercial on that page at the end has 100 pop up after they drank it. That just absolutely made me laugh.

I like both Sora and Roxas equally. They've both had they're moments in KH2. I haven't played 358/2 days yet, nor will I ever (I don't have a DS anymore. Damn Square for not putting it on the PSP) It's time like this where Youtube really come in handy for viewing cutscenes. Although, I haven't done that yet. It's possible I might side with Roxas if I do.

I'm kinda so-so about Sora, I love his happy-go-lucky additude towards most things, but he's not the most in-depth character I've ever seen. I do like of in the PS2 remake of KH:chain how they gave him more development. I kinda saw him in a better light.
Same with Roxas. I like how he contrasts Sora with his more serious and down additude. He doesn't appeal to me much like an emu kid, in KH2.

Oh, and all this about Roxas being like Cloud. Nah, he may look like him, but they seem pretty different to me in terms of personality. Roxas is way more outgoing and friendly than Cloud, and isn't as big of a jerk (and I'm talking about Cloud's 'I can do everything myself without your help additude') Not trying to be rude, but that's how I view the whole Cloud and Roxas match up.
 
I like them both, but overall im going to haveta say Sora yeah sure Roxas is
Sora's nobody
and yeah sure it's sad when Roxas' leaves D: but-- Sora I just have more of an connection because in KH2 you spend most the time with him. Roxas does play a part in the game, and at the beg. I did learn to like him but I personally didn't get to see him grow as a character as I did with Sora from KH. They both have (IMO) great personalities and are good characters but, Sora I got history with ;) XD and therefore, I know him better as a character meaning, I prefer Sora :) Nutting wrong with Roxas...

naa sora is the best cause nothing can beat the original.... and roxas is only a imposter.... so sora = win

Going just by having played the first two Kingdom Hearts games and nothing else, I like Roxas better. He was a far better character. He had a better backstory and I think he just had a lot more depth than Sora.
