Anyone watch this?

I've gotten hooked over the last 2-3 months and it's now my Sunday night ritual. I used to be an avid fisherman, but fuck if my knowledge wasn't restricted purely to fresh water game fish in the US. Obviously I knew there was a broad variety of nasties in some of the more predetor-laden bodies like the Amazon and Mekong, but nothing like this MF'er:

what kind of fish is it? yo I used to be hobby fisher too, but nowadays I keep getting a grudge against fishermen...

They OVERfish.
They almost exterminated the CatFish becuz of its eggs for caviar..for money....

I hate humans for what they do to the animals... I only have respect for fishermen that put the fish back when caught.

The fuck? That is the creepiest this I've ever seen. Is that real? Gross....It sends me shivers just thinking that fish that ugly would be swimming next to me if I ever fell off a boat.

It's a Goliath Tigerfish that's found primarily in the Congo and Zambezi river systems in Africa (this one was caught in the Congo basin I believe). There are several species of Tigerfish but this one is the bad ass.

Apparently these things have no qualms about taking a chunk out of a crocodile.

WOW but Ive heard alligators are more aggressive and voracious then crocodiles, so would this tigerfish have any chance against a alligator?

But the mere thought of a tigerfish invading a crocodile's space ,yet even bite a chunk out of a crocodile is impressive indeed.
