Well I am replaying this game and I have beat it a few times already but I asked myself how I could make the story more challenging when I already know how easy it can be.....

So to I made these (personal) Guidelines for myself to follow and so far I will say its working and the game had been fresher than ever.

Guideline 1: No walkthrough absolutely.

Guideline 2: Dont stop for extra leveling at any place unless its to obtain an enemy skill or steal item.

Guideline 3: MOST IMPORTANT. Try playing the game with ALL characters....(except cloud)...no more than 2 levels apart from each other.

This makes the game so far for me a lot more fun...I have just entered disc 2 and I will say because of the 3rd guideline I have been forced to utilize and become familiar with gearing and equipting all characters to my advantage. Its also kind of fun since Im doing level based partys..Its almost like luck of the draw.... Pick the lowest and proceed.

In short I have not been challenged by this game for a long time but this is a good way to keep common battles and also boss fights at par with my skill levels and abilitys because I am constently switching to the group that had just been Under the roof during the previous storms.

I think this a good route to go for a full complete of the game as well because at the end you will really have your choice of characters when it comes to the end game optional bosses.

I encourage others to try this approach or tell me if they have done it just like this before. Lets rap about it yall.

I think I will definitely try it.
At least, I totally want to use all characters.
The only problem is that, will they be strong enough for Sephiroth in the end?

The groovy thing is that they will be strong enough. I just beat the game doing this method and all of my characters were under level 50....the neat thing is if you are under level 50's than it will let you make 2 seperate parts for the defeat of sephiroth. I only needed one party to beat him but it was still cool. And any other bosses you may have trouble with can be offset with hp plus materia or just the Mighty guard enemy skill. It was the funnest time Ive ever played it.
