Of all the games you've played, which stands out as having the most replay value?

It's a close one between TimeSplitters 2 and Super Smash Bros Melee for me. SSBM might edge TS2 slightly. That game released in 2001, and I STILL play it more often than most games.

TS 2 definately. I always play my old (snes/megadrive) mario and sonics they will NEVER get old
Iv played FFVII & VIII countless times and X isn't too far behind
I still play Tony Hawk 3 even tho I leant that out ages ago & Im missing it =[

TimeSplitters 2 is god.

Something about it keeps me playing. How many games allow you to wage a flamethrower war between monkeys and gingerbread men in a robot factory?

Not many!

hahaha I know, I hink because the arcade is so diverse, you can just never get bored. Multi player is epic, I love kicking arse on it. It used to drive my ex and his mates mad that I was a girl and I just toasted their arses evertime

I got addicted to it :monster:

Owning at TS2 is so satisfying. =)

Unfortunately, I'm not THAT much better than my usual competition. Ohh, well.

But yeah, there's a TON of stuff to keep you playing. A decent co-op campaign. 128 unlockable characters, over a dozen maps, and unlockable weapons and modes. A map creator. A challenge AND arcade section.

The best is the fully customizable multiplayer, though. I think I'll play me some TS2 today.

I was just thinking that aswel :wacky:

I could never make decent maps, I'm abit impatient and they always ended up looking shit

Gawd I havent played it for a while actually, I bet Im well rusty with the controls o_O

Whoa, I dunno bout you...but I'm sure as hell rusty. Playing Halo will kill your skills.

Don't worry, my maps were always terrible, too. I made most of mine for playing Virus. I <3 Virus.

Virus got me so annoyed, until I found a spot on the maps where you could run around safely for a while :wacky:

My favourite is when you stand in that room and you have zombies coming at you from like 3 directiopns and ou have to shoot their heads off. That keeps me entertained for ages :monster:

Oh, yeaaaaaaaaaah! I forgot all about those challenges!

Those were awesome. The one where you're in the center ring at the Circus annoyed me, though. I think that challenge unlocked Sergio.

I pulled my hair out trying to beat that one. haha

Oh, but I love the Tactical 12-gauge shotgun. =D

It took me ages to work out that there were fire extinguishers on that level :wacky:

I used to burn to death and scream its EFFING IMPOSSIBLE at the screen

I still haven't completed it actually, I got stuck on the very last level on hard and just never bothered retrying. I damn well made suire I got all gold and platinum arcade awards tho :monster:

I beat it, but there's a section of my hair that's forever gray because of it. haha

You got all gold and platinums? That's pretty damn impressive. I think there's an assault mission I need to gold. =(

Oh, and one think that drives me crazy: I don't have the Site unlocked for multiplayer. I think you have to complete the campaign on the Hard difficulty setting. I never got around to doing that.

The Robot Factory is a tough level...

My blood pressure was thru the roof, the first time I did Serbia on hard I was like no way am I EVER gunna be able to do this. Id get to the checkpoint fine but Id always get had off right near the end >_<

I thougt id NEVER do the robot factory took me agggges
The first time I got to the boss i was like OMG and I fluffed it I was soooo mad, but I did it second time (after countless gameovers inbetween) I finally did it, I swear my heart was in my mouth it was one of those OH YEEEEEEEEEEEAH moments were you jump around screaming victory haha

Other than that the hardest level I think was Atom Smasher, I can't begin to describe how hard I found that level -_-

All the others were just haaaaaaard

*looks at file*

amature league- I have 2 platinums in virus (monkey Immolation & Disco Inferno)

Honorary league-
Maximus - R109 platinum
elimination - baking for the taking - platinum
team deathmatchwith those hands- platinum

Elite League
One Shot thrills - babes in the wood - platinum
Duel meaning team deathmatches - platinum in all 3

All the rest were golds :monster:

I fully intend on never doing some of those hard gits again

And no, I don't have the site unlocked, curses to the last level of doom. Thats the one I like where you blow the zombie heads off :monster:

Oh yes, I had too much time on my hands and Im pretty sure Im no where near as good (or flukey :wacky: as I once was)
But there is just so much to do in this game I could go back time and time again and never be bored

I have actually replayed FFX the most out of all games I've owned. I dunno...it just captures me the most in the Story and it's just an awesome game in general.

I don't replay the Final Fantasy games much. I beat 'em the first time, and then I play again later...only to stop once I make it halfway through.

Same here, ma'am. I played quite a bit of TS2 this evening. I remember raking the kills like it was nothing back in the day. I was a mess during a deathmatch at the Ice Station. If it wasn't for the homing rockets I put on, I'd have been the victim of severe ownage.

Makes me want to play the crap outta this game for the next few weeks to restore my skills. =D

Hahaha I get the feeling I will be dusting my copy off soon, I just have a list of games to complete as long as my arm :wacky:

FFX would have more replay value if the sodding sidequests weren't so annoying. I will never ever do some of those quests again *im looking at YOU onion knight* Altho it is one of my favourite games and I love it, I just wont try to 100% it everytime, I have one file for that the rest are just for the story an' shizz

Tetris!

I can play that game every time i can, and i never get tired or bored! I can also count Winning Eleven or Street Fighter 2.

Super Mario Bros. series, the classic ones! That's definitely on top of my list. There's just something about it that gives me good memories from my childhood days.

Street Fighter is also up there. I want to replay it right now, in fact...but I need to buy the newer versions first. (I've only played the one for Sega Genesis.)

To be honest, with all the games I have to play, none of them. Why re-play a game if there are others to experience? Although, in a few years, I'll probs replay Zelda, Valkyrie Profile and Final Fantasy games.

Pokemon I guess, since that's the only game I have actually replayed totally. :P

Edit: Ooh, Tetris has good replay value. xD And Mario and Sonic don't easily get old.

Im back on FFX trying to complete myfile but I can't find the entrance to the caves so I can redo the mountain trial :wacky:

Stupid Dark Aeons...... -_-
