SO. I'm completely obsessed with Dissidia. BUT, there's one problem. I'm not all that great. :\ Just wondering if anyone has any tips to help me improve. Like battle strategies, good techniques to have, etc. Please and thank you.

Could you please elaborate on what you need help with? What characters you are using, what techniques you currently use etc. It would help us to help you. =]

EDIT: The abilities, weapons/armor, accessories, etc. And what you do when you go into battle.

No need to apologize. :)

Sorry. I use Kefka mainly. But sometimes I like to use Cloud.

Uhm, as for techniques I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Like, the abilities I have set, ORRR the way I fight?

Abilities: Bravery Attacks - (land) scatter-spray blizzaga, extra-crispy firaga, and lickety-split thundaga. (air) waggle-wobbly firaga, zap-trap thundaga and ultima.

Hp Attacks - (land) Havoc wing, and hyperdrive
(air) trine and forsaken null.

Equipment: Eight-fluted pole, diamond cuff, diamond hairpin and diamond armor.

Accessories: Earring, w/ boosters ex mode and level 100. (i have to get more rosetta stones and then that will change)

Well, in battle I start off using scatter-spray usually. i mainly try to get a good amount of bravery or maybe even a break (if I can). When I'm being attack I dodge and never really block, though I am starting to try to.

I'm not sure what else to say, if you want to know something, just ask.

you NEED waggle-wobbly firaga for ground and air first of all

its Kefka's stable and must be used at every opportunity

use scatterspray blizaga and extra crispy firaga only in the air to combo off of wobbly

mix up wobbly and lickety split thundaga on the ground and ultima on anyone that gets block happy against your magic.

USE HAVOC WING ONLY IN THE AIR

only have hyperdrive on the ground

get better equipment(preferably adamant)

The usefulness of forsaken null is debatable

you need to use wobbly as much as you can, and when it hits, use crispy if theyre far, and scatter spray if theyre close, and thats your basic air game. If the opponent gets close to you, use crispy to knock them away. When you rack up enough brave, mixup trines and firagas to attempt to trap the opponent and make them get hit by trine. If you trap the opponent and trine doesnt hit, dash up to them and use havoc.

on the ground, just use wobbly when the opponent is far away, and lickety when theyre are close. Ultima if you think theyre are going to block. IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PULL OFF A FULLY CHARGED HYPERDRIVE, DO IT

and thats basically it to play kefka

if you want, I can post a couple of vids that show the highlight of kefka competitive play
