This is.
Basically, a weak attempt to make money (real money: $, ¥, £, €) using basic gfx skills & knowledge anyone might reproduce.
I'll attempt it. Detail everything. Offer exposition on the theory & practicality of it. You can watch my progress(or laugh at the lack thereof).
If it works & people are b0red, others may use this to buy more games for themselves.
Good jobs can be difficult to find these days. Maybe an interesting topic?

Theory
Advertisers pay website owners cash for exposure in terms of the number of times an ad is viewed or clicked.
To better illustrate this concept, an application like http://hypestat.com can compile an estimate of how much a websites internet traffic is worth.
A search on planetrenders.net reveals...
K, its worth approximately, $80.57 per day. Comes out to around $2,417 per month & $29,000 a year @ 24,196 unique visitors and 72,587 page views. Not bad. The cost of the server(s) and hosting all those renders does detract. But, upkeep costs aren't necessarily as high as one might think.
There are blogs that claim an income of $20,000 / month. But, those are people who made their blog their full time job who've spent years building their business & they rely on affiliate programs & other things that vastly multiply their income.
I'll be lucky & surprised to get $0.10 per month.
Application
My goal is to see how much I can earn using this method whilst spending nothing to show that 'anyone' can make it work & that pre-paid services and enterprisey software aren't necessarily requisites for success, here.
To make it 'art-based' the main attraction to the site will be images I rendered. At the moment, I have..... 32 renders.
Free stuff I'm using to build my site.
1. Free website host @ http://freehostingx.com
Their free account offers:
& more~
Main thing to know about free website providers is
2. Free css website template / theme from http://templatemo.com
3. Filezilla http://filezilla-project.org/ to upload files to and from server via ftp.
4. Notepad++ http://notepad-plus-plus.org/ to edit .js, .css, .html, .php, and assorted files.
5. Gimp http://gimp.org for graphics editing.
6. Google Analytics http://google.com/analytics for web traffic stats.
7. Google adwords http://google.com/adwords for advertisements and (hopefully) cash from web traffic.
Two things of note with google adwords:
.........................
Basically my site will be a MMA (mixed martial arts) render site. If I ever get around to it, I'll include MMA wallpapers, signatures, and avatars & offer them for free download.
I'll also post articles and predictions in regard to upcoming MMA fights.
The current site: http://mma.freehostingx.com
Can't say I put much work into it & its not very pretty or cool.
But, we will see.
....
The main reason I made this is to offer some of you who might not be able to find a job or work some possible options & offer help if needed.
Some of you have excellent GFX skills & may be able to make a living from it if you played your cards right.
No need for more starving artists in this world, broz.

Two things of note with google adwords:
- Google adwords has a reputation for being the lowest paying ad service.
- Google adwords is known for not paying those who illegally boost traffic to their site or click on their own banner ads to boost income. In some cases, they'll terminate your account & you won't get paid.
