Rare monsters!

I was wondering if it's possible to capture all of the rare monsters at any point in the game? I find that I come across the rare monsters by chance/accident but think I may have missed an opportunity to 'collect' some early ones!

There are some rare monsters but you don't collect trophies from them.

30 of them net you trophies and you don't capture them you kill them
I think you have to do pharos before you can unlock the rare game mini-game

I'm sure you can capture them at any point of the game, even if you missed some early ones. I mean, sidequests usually works that way anyway - it's on-going thing throughout the whole game. Especially if it's capturing/collecting monsters and whatnot.

You can always get rare monsters to spawn, even if you've already killed them before they will respawn for you (at least some of them well, I killed Fideliant (sp?) about 10 times and Glaring Eye about 10000 times.) The only ones that won't spawn after you killed them are the ones you get trophies from.

The 30 that drop trophies though Spawn as many times as you want, but once you kill them, they will NEVER SPAWN AGAIN. You get your trophy, and it's goodbye baddie! That's only for the 30 Trophy Hunt Club ones though. They only show up though after you reach a certain part in the game like Gabranth stated though.

As for the other 50/80, they will show up at any point of the game under special circumstances. You can find them and defeat them as many times as possible.
