Help Rapps =(

Hey guy's.

So i haven't played FF7 for awhile. I started a new save to try some new character's after finishing everything end game, and im doing Yuffie's sidequest in Wutai. Ive got to the bit where Elena of the turk's and Yuffie is tied up on the mountain's by Corneo.

Im having trouble with his "pet" =(
He seem's to hit like a truck on me, for example his aero3 wipe's out any of my character's in one shot.

I haven't played for year's so i don't know what's going on, maybe im too low of a level (level 25ish)

Any tip's for me?

Well Barret is quite useful for this mission, his mindblow limit prevents Rapps from casting Aero3 in the battle also good to have either Aerith, or if you haven't levelled her, a decent healer with all materia at a decent level. then just use whoever as a third member.

if i remember rightly u can buy items from wutai shop. Items that cast fire, ice and bolt 2. They are uber handy as they deal loads of damage to rapps. It can be a tough battle but ul manage it.

Yuffie has al the materia Guntz you tool

I find going in with limits charged and aeriths using seal evil helps, stock up on phoenix downs and hammer away with attacks and limits, Id concentrate 2 people on healing and one on hitting he is a bit of a tricky bugger. seal evil stops him for a shoert while so you should have a bit of breathing space to heal.attack

I remember that at first I was just throwing stuffs at it and when I did one of Aerith Limit Breaks I don't remember what but Rapps suddenly stopped moving as in completely so I just kept hitting it without it attacking back XD kinda easy win though :-/

That would be Seal Evil, I train Aerith specifically just to get that limit so Im prepared for the Rapps fight...WHY I never thought of using Mindblow is beyond me though...you learn summat new every day

Yeah I couldn't manage to finish FF7 without barret's mindblow, it used right its usefull.

That fight is an ass if you don't know its coming or your not prepared for it but its doable with some effort.

I was also stuck off rapps for a long time I just rode my Luck and beat him in the end with some lucky limit breaks

Barret's mind blow did make a HUGE difference to the fight. With that, rapps is a lil baby
