still having all the equipment will take more money

what do you mean? if you spend a good time in the game, you'll eventually have a really high amount of gil (or loot, if you haven't sold it)

hehe i got vaan to level 77 and the others are leveled 67 right now. i just started playing ffxii 2 weeks ago but i do have plenty of not so good weapons and armors and their stuff are mostly recycled from vaan, ashe and fran.. atleast reading some post gives me an idea what to use...

I used to buy set's of 6 of the best stuff before progressing in the story much futher. By doing this you also gain levels but also takes a fair bit of time and gets kinda boring. By the time of got to Jahara I started just buying set's of 3, and alternating them between characters as I use them. Normaly I use a group of 3 characters, then once they've all levelled up once I switch them with the other 3 until they level up and so on. I'm now about to clim that 'Holy Mountain' place and im about level 28 or something, trying to raise cash for afew more bits of equipment before heading up. I've noticed that I never use 2-handed weapons but everyones using Axes/Hammers instead.

Getting money is really easy...go through the game as normal, when you get the chance to get the behemoth king, kill him and then get the bonus reward at mt. bur omisace, 500k in the bag right there

yeah and chaining mirrorknights give you like 200 k in 20 mins lol

later on in the game axes and hammers arent useful since youll do 9999 damage with the great swords and the katanas will do more damage overall with multiple hits
