Playstation [PSP Star Ocean 2] Can't find save spot

Hiya. I've been playing Star Ocean Second Evolution on my PSP while on commute, and I'm not sure how far I'm in the game per se, but I'm at the Fun City where Mirage gives those special weapons to Reina and Claude and you can train in the Colosseum, rest or finally decide to go vist the Mayor Nall.

Now, there's a boss battle that happens when you decide to go visit the mayor, and after that one, you're suppose to be able to save somewhere because there's another boss battle right after, but I have no clue where it is D=

I've been running around wherever I can without triggering the second boss battle, and I do not see the save spot at all Dx

This is incredibly frustrating because while I can get through the first boss, I keep dying at the second one, or I have to get off the bus during mid-play, so I lose all my progress :/

IIRC, there is a waiting room in the arena lobby where you can rest between the bosses...

Yeah, I checked there. I can rest, but no save point >.<

Just checked a couple of videos, and it looks like there is a save point in the arena where you fight

After the battle when you're free to move around, the save spot disappears from that area Dx
