i was told to put this here by Momoo so..

Basically, i was playing my PSP when it cut out. Saying that it had run out of power. But when I plugged my charger into it it wouldn't charge.

The orange light didn't come on and i can't start up my PSP because it's out of power.

so...what happened? What can I do to fix it? Do i need to buy another charger? Or is the Problem the Battery instead?

Help would be nice. :D

Have you tried plugging it into another outlet?

Has your PSP Charger Cord been damaged in any way?

TBH It doesn't sound like your battery, the Cord would still light up the charge light regardless and allow you to play.

So its either due to your Outlet having a short or a breaker may have blown, or your Charger Cord may need to be replaced :/.

It was originally plugged into the outlet beside my bed, but I tried the one beside my computer, one in my parent's room and downstairs so...none worked.

I have no Idea what my PSP charger card is.

But thanks for the help.

Phew, i thought the Charger card was like something in the PSP and i was like: "...D: wut"

Thank you for the help. I'm more certain it's the cord now because both of my batteries won't charge.

again, Thank you so so much. :D

I also had this problem. I thought my PSP was dead. But months later I decided to give it another go, so I charged it again. I just started moving the PSP and chargin chord again whilst it was plugged in, and eventually, it started charging. Sometimes you just have to move the psp/charger plug a bit, then when you see the charing light, leave it in that position. I think the problem is with the charger, I'm just guessing here but perhaps it's got something to do with weak current flow to your PSP from your outlet? Not too sure, but give that fiddling thing a go.
