I haven't tried it on the PS2 yet as my PS1 consoles still work pretty well... most of the time. Anyway, I'm not surprised to hear this since the PS2 in a sense emulates the PS1's hardware while playing PS1 titles on it. That and this game is also a port over from a much older and different console. With those two double wammies, the minor bugs and glitches will surely show up.
