Privileges for Upper-Classes?

I guess my point is that a signature like Edea's below me is perfectly fine. It is exactly the right size and she followed the rules perfectly... but why limit the width in which we post is 100 pixels longer. Why is it 500px wide when we post in a 600px viewing window. If it's 600px wide, it won't affect the screen anymore than if it's 500px long. So while it's good that Edea is following the rules, it is completely pointless to me that she should have to.

What does get annoying, however, is when someone has about a half dozen pictures in their signature about the same damn thing over and over. Or a random fustercluck of everything they enjoy. Make a signature about something you like, keep it like that for a while, and then change it to something new. There's no reason to display EVERYTHING you like all at once.

I don't see that if people don't have signitures exceeding the allowed size that they should be forced to change them. because they are in the forum rules after all. I'd say if overly long sigs bother you enough just turn off the the "View signitures" option in your user CP.

I'd still like it if Senior / veteran members had the same priveledges before, where they can see why posts / treads have been deleted. Mainly because then they know if the staff members are doing their jobs or not - and if they're being too harsh a senior or Veteran member is more likely to complain about them. And a senior/veteran member are more likely to be staff candidates, so it would be helpful for them to know how a staffer does the job.

Rights like that shouldn't come with having more posts. I don't think Seniors or Veterans should have ANY rights to see what normal members do not, nor do I think they should have any right to have bigger avatars or signatures, if it is done, it should be done across the board, not just a select few.

It's more of a reward than a right.

Rewards shouldn't come in the form of powers to see moderator's reasons for deletion of threads, I can see the Signature thing possibly being different, but I still see it as unfair for the rest of the forum.

Things like this don't happen to punish regular members or make them feel left out, it's to reward the members that are more active.

Only, it shouldn't just be about the amount of posts but also there should be a set length of time the member has been here as well. (If this has already been said I'm sorry, but I'm to lazy to go back and read).

And back on the sig thing,
I hardly see three images being wanted, as most people only use one or two images.
I agree with this, and I also agree with the points Riku brought up as well ^o^ I don't understand why something like that wasn't implemented in the first place.

I think it actually came from ACF and it just kind of ... stuck.

There used to be unlimited space, but after a few months it was put down to 10 lines. I think Moderators have much less loose restrictions though.

Hrmmm...having a larger sig would soooo drag the page on. Why not use spoiler tags? If someone wants to see your sig so bad then they can click the spoiler. Or if not spoiler tags some sort of tag as to where it can be clicked. Not sure of the exact name, aye.

Having a huge ass sig is not really needed as no one really looks at it anyways. At least, I don't. =/.

I never liked the unlimited permissions for staff. I can't remember who it was, but a while back one moderator had a huge fucker and it just irritated me.
I like Riku's idea about having more lines with only one image, and less for two. Implement pl0x.
