Anyone have this game?
If so...

it's pretty easy huh? :P

I love the graphics and the story though. But l think the difficulty caters more to casual gamers than they do to hardcore gamers. Seriously, it's impossible to die.

Elika is ace 'cause of that. :monster:

I hate this game for that one single reason. YOU CANNOT DIE. Its bloody annoying having to watch him get saved after every single cock-up you make! That's not Prince like! The Prince would just die and start again!

Despite this I will admit, the story is quite nice albeit repetitive of the previous games, evil power gets released, Prince somehow dragged into it, Prince saves world, something happens to the heroine of the game yada yada yada. The gameplay is quite good and I like how battles are done (though I miss being able to fight multiple enemies at once) and the character designs are pretty amazing.

Overall I give this game 6/10 stars due to it's annoying Lego game likeness (you never truly die) and the fact that its a repetitive story and the characters don't blend well with the scenery. (If you look closely you'll notice that they're fuzzy as though they've ben put in by a terrible programmer)

I haven't had that problem with the character designs but more with the shadows, but damn, that's a huge drop just 'cause of invincibility. xD

Hush nub. Not being able to die is good. >.>
I'll just quote myself from the what are you playing thread until I've played more of the game, therefore, will have more to talk about at a later date. :wacky:

This game is fucking sensational, it has an amazing storyline from what I've played so far, the characters are really gripping straight from the off in my opinion, which is a great thing because it'll definitely add reply value since the characters are great. The battle system is amazing, I'm not really one for button mashing, but in PoP it looks great when you do. The graphics are unbelievable so far as well. A must buy. :-)

Ive been 50/50 with buying this game as GAME want £25 for the normal edition or £25 for the special edition! But I havent had a chance to play a demo for the 360. The graphics look stunning and I like the help you recieve in it. But as for not dying, sounds good and yet not so good.

I like the game play and the story until....you get to the end....
In the end the evil power is released again and the lands go back the way they started at. It feels as if you played through the entire game for nothing!! DX!!!
The reason for it was nice, though v.v

It's amazing that the original 1989 game was so damn difficult and nearly two decades later it could be mastered by a thumbless five year old. The game looks beautiful but I'm not going to pick it up. This game is the cost of casual games - games with no challenges included or skill required in order to please the masses and keep the simpletons happy. Fuck it. I want depth. I want challenge.
