Football either a Right Attacking mid, or off the striker, Think Joe Cole in chelsea's old 4-3-3 style.

Rugby - Dunno the position name =/ the dude who's mainly in there for power?

Baseball - Shortstop
Basketball - Shoot Guard/Small Forward
American Football - Running Back, Wide Receiver, and Defensive Back

Soccer I only played when I was like...3rd grade-ish. I have no idea what the positions are anyways.

I only ever play football. About 98% of the time, I'm the keeper. I like to think I'm pretty good at it, but I haven't actually played for a team for a while. The other 2% of the time, I play as a right winger. I have a decent cross, but I can't play there anymore because I have problems with my left knee and I can't run for too long

There the basic positions xD

Volleyball: All positions, because you rotate positions
Hockey: Left wing though I only played that position for one season, after that I couldn't really handle it so I played goalie

back in my baseball day i was, center field mostly, i was tall and quick. but later on in my carer i switched to back catcher.
Ive never played in an organised hockey league, but in my weekly road hockey game I'm usually defense or goalie, i don't have the hands to be a affective forward, can make solid passes though

I'm whats called a base layer, its a cycling term, I stay at the back and actually help by pushing other cyclists when they are tired, or need a moment to rest their legs. I sorta pulled the short straw but it does mean the rest of them shield me from the cyclist's deadliest foe! The wind.

Only played football in elementary school, and I was a goalkeeper.

Others: "Hey, you're not fast, but you're kind of tall! Get in goal!" :D
Me: >_<

I think I was pretty good, though.

You guys have a sports section? That's great. SOME places feel like limiting discussion by restricting sub-forum topics...

Anywho, I played short-stop and pitcher during my 10+ years playing baseball. In basketball, I was the center. See, I didn't have any "real" skill--I'd just use my height to my advantage, getting rebounds and putting the ball back up for an easy score.

Oh, well. Whatever works. ;D

played midfield for my school football team back wen i was at school. Thats my only sport i ever seriously played.

Volleyball: I play outside hitter, but I play a lot of defense because I'm good at digging.
Soccer: I'm usually a left forward (because I'm left footed) but I play goalie, and sometimes mid.

I also play a lot of ping pong and badminton, used to play hockey but injured myself... =/
