Policy for anybody found taking advantage of hack

Policy for people who did not report they took advantage of the hack

We need to report these people to either LA or Saix. Because I think they should be banned from the RPG for a week as well as having their character reset.

What do you guys think? Am I being too harsh?

As I said in the Watch List thread, this has my full support. I can't see LA opposing either - but I can't speak for her.

However as I said, ensure that these people have at least been notified/reminded of the situation, and they've been on in order to see the post regarding the matter.



Unrelated, but I thought I should mention my Gil; I'm only supposed to have 50,000. Tiel has already sorted my Gil issue once (I had a ridiculous amount after Adamant's little game), but I seemed to gained again.
 
As for your Gil issue, I have been encountering some weird crap with people's stats. I will look into your gil issue.

As for the policy, I will PM the user first. If my PM gets ignored, I will request that either you or LA ban their access to the RPG for a week. As we can only do it per user group. The character may have to be reset anyway, if the user added the attributes to their character. I found a couple like that already. Adamant turned off the stat limits.

Make sure you request a receipt when you send the PM so you know if they looked at it or just ignored it.
 
That or maybe a usergroup with normal permissions, but no rpg access. They break the rules, move em to that usergroup, effectively banning them from the rpg until further notice :P
