hi people

i've noticed that people seem to get angry when you ask questions that have been answered before, this one i'm sure has been solved but i can't find the solution. SOOOOOOOO i'm relatively new to the whole online game thing and people keep saying dissidia can be played online. How do i do this.... and do i need a ps3?

There are two options to going online to play inter-nationally or with others around the country:
PS3 - AdHoc Party
XLink Kai - The WiFi Adapter

The PS3 is the simplest way, because you only need to download AdHoc Party from PSN and you'll be able to use it. For the XLink Kai, it's a bit harder xD I'd rather not explain =) Not too many people use it anyway, I don't think.

Besides... Isn't it a bit too early to be going online with Dissidia? You'd be facing the same people over and over again, if anyone at all. You probably don't even have good gear for everyone yet. Have you managed to get yourself about 140 Rosetta stones? Have you got a good enough build for each of your characters that you are planning to use? And if YOU have, do you reckon other people will have?

Give it some time :3 I'm just waiting for the right moment to go online to play against other Dissidia people playing NA or EU versions :3

erm Skye, people online play without gear/summons/accs. There are some people who like playing with equips, but there are very few who do.
You still need level 100 and most abilities mastered, though.

Yes, the majority of people online disagree with using summons, EX, hig level gear etc because it makes battles dull, quick and fairly one sided and usually rely purely on skill with a character.

As for Xlink Kai, as it wasn't explained it requires you to buy Wifi MAX and then downloading Xlink Kai. This requires your computer to be compatible with it, of that I can't help.

Ad Hoc Party requires a Japanese PSN account, a PS3 and a wired connection to work, if you have those three things I suggest you look up youtube tutorials unless you know your Japanese.

The Rosetta stones comment, I assume that's about accessories, having more equipment options for characters et cetera.
