Pirate vs Ninja, the ultimate showdown.

this is an age old debate that isnt serious enough for people who acually debate in a sesible manner, so i ask you, which side are you on? this argument has been around for longer than i have been alive.
 
Now, don't get me wrong, I love ninjas but I'm going to have to go with pirates. Why, you ask? It's simple. As a pirate you get to steal shit, pillage entire cities, burn them to the ground, drink loads of alcohol, capture all the pretty women, have people know your name far & wide, & you get to say "yarrr" a lot.

Sounds like fun to me.
 
Haha, I have a couple of friends who used to argue this all the time. For one of their birthdays a couple of years back, the other actually wrote a doctoral thesis on why ninjas are better than pirates and gave it to them as a present xD

HAHAHA, awsome, and this is a very old debate, its been around since...i dont knwo when. im glad that ppl have such enthusiasm for it, i do :P. im kinda split between the two sides though, i liek them both.

and:
1)ninjas steal
2)they are imfamous for being deadly and tactical geniuses
3)they steal and kill :P

so they do have fun like pirates and they drank sake(sp?), so they had alcohol too.

Play Splinter Cell for the best reason.....well at least the missions where you are allowed to kill people.

Also ninjas have honor and pirates don't.


One more thing, a katana can whoop a scimitars ass any day.

Maybe we should expand this to include samurais cause that would be the ultimate showdown man.

OR Samurais vs. Wolverine.

very true fro this is one of man kind's most enduring debates, and will most likely stay alive throughout our lives and future generations as well.
 
i rly find it hard to decide, i like both factions, and love the tatics adn weapons of both.......oooh, the choices.
 
The answer is simple my friends. Get with the times. We don't have to choose just one any more.

A group of ninja's should get together, buy a boat, and sail the seven seas as Ninjates, or Piranjas, or just plain old Ninja Pirates... or Pirate Ninjas.

I guess by solving the problem of which is better I have created another problem... what do we call them?! :blink:
 
^its ppl like that is why this argument still exists.

ninjas had crap that used gunpowder, if fact the chinese invented frikken gunpowder. so without the society that produced ninja, pirates would be pansies on boats, with rum and knives and swords, and nothing more.

Is this really a seriousl debate or what? It doesn't matter it all comes down to individual skill if we are talking about them as a whole then ninjas pwn simply because anime pwns. Naruto FTW. English Dub of Naruto FTL.
