I havent played FFVII or FFVIII in quite some time now... But would I be right in saying that there was at least 1 Pink Floyd song in both those games?

Im sure I remember something very similar to "Money" being played at the casino type thing in FFVII... maybe?

And in FFVIII, did i hear the song "Hey You" being played?

Am i just talking crazy here, or were these songs really in the games? And are there any other Pink Floyd songs in other Final Fantasy games?
 
No, you're absolutely right, cait sith's theme actually does remind me of "money", but...Aerith's theme is nothing like Hey You. Hahaha.
 
No wonder why cait sith's theme sounded so familier, I like try to place it every time but it like never comes to me. It's weird because when I hear the song "money" it doesn't remind me anything of his theme
 
They don't have the same melody but they have the same beat.
And the bass guitar sounds like it. ^___^

I was gonna go apeshit on this topic, but I can agree with this post. They're not similar but the beat is the same. It's the same kind of style... but the songs are not very similar otherwise. It's that slow jazzy kind of cool beat... but nothing more other than that.
 
Listening to 'Money' now....hmmm kinda see what you mean.

Wonder if they'll do 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond' in FFXIII :P
