so whos beaten penance??? recently started again and planning on trying it using auron tidus and kimahri (i know supposed to use tidus wakka and rikku) wondering if anyone else has beaten penanace using characters other than those three???
 
I have beat him and he was quite hard but Super mighty G was helpful ^_^
I used yuna instead of wakka
I used blitz ace on the arms instead of attack reels
 
i had tidus, yuna and auron/lulu

i just hastega everyone and put up protects and shells and use yojimbo and if i get zanmato he is dead and if not ijust overdrive his ass and use my best attacks
 
I'm just fighting him for the first times, I'm using Tidus, Yuna and Wakka, sice they are my most upgraded characters, or I would be using Auron instead of Wakka (there's is that lil' trick that let's have a infinite overdrive gauge with Auron, well nor atrick and not infinite and it takes some time more to beat the arms). But for now I don't care about beating Penance, I just need ribbons, and Master Spheres, as well as some Elixirs and Megalixirs. And also a friend told me that there's a Overdrive Mode that's only able to gain in the battle against Penance, Rook I think that was the name he told me.
And i'm also raising my luck (wakka misses most of the attacks with 80 of luck, as Tidus with 112 never misses)
 
You should use Rikku for her Overdrive; Hyper mighty, use Wakka's attack reels and Tidus' Blitz ace when your dealing with the arms. Which I intend to use when I get to that stage... Or I will just use Yojimbo and bribe awa for good attacks.
 
when i did it first time i had all stats maxed out apart from luck tho it was quite high how did ya do it without the attack reels hitting 12 times is very handy
hah my yojimbo killed brasas final aeons scond part and the main part of sin made me laugh
