FFX-2 OverPowered Opponents

Whats your opinion on overpowered opponents such as

Stalwart
Tonberry
Amorphous Gel

And other similar Enemies that are way too strong for you to defeat when you first encounter them. Do you flee? Do you fight? Do you return to inflict swift and brutal revenge?
 
Meh, i would sorta try and if i was getting pwn i would flee.

Overpowered fiends where annoying. I hated that one i think it was the Amorphous Gel. Normal attacks didn't harm it and it keept switching elements. Man was the a pain.
 
What I did was try to fight and if Iwas forced to flee the next time I met it I would have rikku steal while the others ran.
 
I've played the game more than 4 times all the way through (i never could hit 100%) so I always knew what i could and couldn't fight and i could tell at the beginning that with the dresspheres on at the beginning whether i should fight or run.
 
The Tonberry I fought the first time I encountered it because it wasn't doing too much damage. But any of the others I fled like hell e.e;;
Then when I was strong enough I came back for revenge but you know...the gelly thingies even today even with my steroidal girls I still don't fought it xD

I only fight the amorphous gel thing if i'm equiped with a black mage, otherwise i get the hell out of this fight as fast as i can....and how can you beat the giants tonberrys in the Via infito....is it possible!?...
 
I never run away from a battle even if I will loose I always stay until the end.
Just train in every place you go at least 4 lvl's like me x'D You should be fine with that ;)

I can't stand the Mega Tonberry in Via Infinito... don't think I've ever come out of there victorious.

Generally, I'll put my all into winning, but the escape function is always on hand though fear of losing. :wacky: Stalwart isn't so bad if you know how best to use your jobs though.
