So people say you only use 10% of your brain at a time, at the other 90% is for storage, sending out body signals, and other unknown things. Lizards are supposedly using more than their 10%, so that’s how they re-grow their tails. Do you think he we could find a way to use more than that 10% we could re-grow limbs or some other crazy stuff that only happens in games like fly, breath under water or re-grow limbs? Some people have reported too that they can detect if people are mad at them etc. There is also only VERY LITTLE known about the whole brain..

I'm just curious now cause I got a concussion by being cross checked in hockey, my science teacher talked about it the next day..

some doctors proved that all that 10% was a load of bollocks.
the people that are telling you that you only use 10% are the same people selling these so called 'programmes' to get you to use more of it.

thats not a difficult thing to do.
as for regeneration, i dont think so, lizards only regrow their tales, not important limbs like arms or legs, the tail thing is an escape mechanism

Regrowing cartilage and regrowing solid bone are two different processes...

And I don't think that people use very much of their brains. I've spent a lot of my life hoping that we're still in the evolutionary process because well...

Yep, i'm also hoping we are still in our evolving process. As for the re-growth, mammals have the ability but one of their genes are turned off, as to the gene turned on in a lizard and we don't know what chemical will turn that gene on in the meantime. It really makes me wonder, what will the world be like in years and years, will our brains evolve so much we can SENSE(?) things like emotions at us, or even things like flying or breathing underwater? Science can prove we can't do those things now, but there's still a lot of things not known, and theories are also constantly being tagged later on as false. Kind of links me to FFX, people not using technology and the slow extinction of machinery. As for the cross-check to the head, who here has had a concussion it's woozy as hell..

I think there's a reason we haven't evolved further - if we could actually DO things we'd probably wipe out humanity in days.

That's bollocks, I know people (myself included) that get by day to day using only 1% of their brains - look at chavs they are de-evolving....(is that even a word?)

There are two new genes in our brain, that's present in 30% of humans and these genes were not in the brains of people 50,000 years ago. Wait a million more years(even if our species lives that long) and we'll be amazing. Meh..I won't be living then but you can hope..

It is interesting to know that both Einstein and Hawkins had their brains damaged so other parts of their brains became active to compensate for the damaged parts and many theorize this is why they are both so intelligent.

Yeah Einstein had more neurons in his brain, but his brain was smaller than an average person's. Just think about what Kit said.

people didnt exist 50k years ago as such.
and im not sure about those genes either as humans stopped eating grass along time ago and yet we still have an apendix.
also the evolution of man is dependent apon making our brains better, if possible, not bigger. some people are just smarter than others and its them who have brought technology forward, not the human race as a whole
