Opening Contest! AOTM # 1 Guidelines

C'mon guyssss we need some people to participate. Anybody who can do digital media besides myself and Estella?
 
Hey, I'm going to stick this in the SB notice, see if that draws more attention.

I might also send pm's to those who have art threads and such, see if that generates any interest. I think once people see this first one, you'll get more interest for future ones too, just gotta get people to notice!
 
I'm entering ^.^
One question, Can it be done on paper aswell?- using pens, getting it painted,etc.
If not then i'll use digital instead ^>^

This first contest is digital only. You can draw it out on paper and scan it in and just color it using the computer if that is what you mean. But the coloring must be computer onry so it's a level playing field. :dave:
 
Im also ganna enter. Question though, does uncolored line art count as being digital? since ur doing the art on the comp? i would think so.

You don't have to color it if you don't want to. BUT I suggest you do so or yours will stand out as unfinished. But if that is what you want to go for..go for it. =)

And Axel I'm sure you'll do just great! Feel free to join the contest. :3

As a reminder, do not sign your images with anything that would give away who the artist who made it is. Also do not post it in your art galleries on the forum for obvious reasons. You can after the voting but..we want to keep this as fair as possible so wait a bit. ^_^

Work hard you guys, if you have any questions feel free to ask. =)
 
Less than a week left to work on your entries! As a reminder, the deadline is May 31st! So take this time to put together the last pieces of your entries! ^_^
 
can i send u the art through my deviant art account and u can just copy and past it? or how u wana do that?

I don't do as much digital as I do traditional art.. and I much prefer traditional (especially painting <3) but it should be fun and a challenge is always nice.

We'd love to have you join in Ethereal. You have till May 31st to submit your piece, I hope that gives you enough time. ^_^

I shut it down because I'm not running AOTM anymore. I was told Vikki is now handling it so I suggest you PM Saga with your entry. :3

I also gave her all the entries that I have received thus far so she'll make the voting thread.
 
This thread can be closed now seeing as how there is no use for it any longer. New guidelines for the second contest shoulda been put up on the first of June if you're still running this contest. D: Unless you're changing it. But yeah you don't need this anymore as a heads up.
