My other thread was erased after the server was restored...But as I said, I am still having these really bad spells. Fatigue, blacking out, loss of eye sight, tingling hands and feet, short breath, and daily nausea in the mornings.

Though I said I would absolutely not visit the doctor, my boyfriend made me a surprise appointment to have a full blown diagnosis of my situation.

Incidentally, upon visiting the doctor I found out that instead of gaining weight, as I have been doing for a few years now...I have lost 6 pounds within the span of a few weeks. It has taken me nearly 2 years to reach the 105 lb mark, and now I'm back to 99.

I did a urine test, a blood test, and an EKG test today. My urine sample was fine, and my blood test won't come back until Thursday. I told my doctor all of my symptoms and his top three presumptions include Diabetes, Anemia, and Hyperglycemia.

The first slightly significant news is that after being hooked up to the EKG machine (heart monitor) we discovered that I have an atypical heartbeat. Apparently it's something that's harmless in my gender and age group, but I do think that it's causing me to have these minor convulsions in my chest as I breathe from time to time.

Now I await my test results on Thursday. =]

XD No, I'm not pregnant. I assure you it is not at all possible that I am pregnant. I have had this problem since I was 15 years old. It's just acting up very badly right now.

I hope I figure out what it is so I can treat it right away.

I hope things go better for you, Rhea. More than likely it is blood sugar problems. I am guessing by the symptoms you are describing. Hopefully it is a slight problem.

Keep us updated on your condition Rhea. I really do hope you start feeling better soon. :)

Nephany, I'm sure you will be ok, I use to have convulsion in my chest turned out I suffered from Anxiety. Anyway even its bad news which I hope it won't be, I know your a fighter and will beat anything what life throws at you. :)

You should have your test results now!
How are you?
I really do hope for the best.
Get Well Soon.
;D

Yay I got my test results back today and it's nothing too serious! ^.^
My doctor says that I am on the brink of diabetes, but not quite, and it is preventable. ^___^

I am sitting here looking at the results and I'm not quite sure what most of it means. =S Here's a quick run down of my "unhealthy" areas which are indicated on the results:

Tryiglycerides - (185) High (Average - 40-136)
Cholesterol - (172) High (Average - 125-170)
Glucose - (43) Low (Average - 65-99)
Potassuim (3.7) Low (Average - 3.8-5.1)
Carbon Dioxide (18) Low (Average - 21-33)
Absolute Neutrophils (9499) High (Average - 1800-8000 cells)
Thyroxine - (13.2) High (Average - 4.5-12.5)

All the rest of my cell counts and chemicals are in balance. Basically the doctor indicated to me that I have hyperthyroidism which is causing me to drop weight way to expeditiously. He says it means I have a very very high metabolism (meaning I crave foods all the time, 24/7, even after eating). It also means that no matter how much food I take in, it just slips right through me and/or I burn it up before my body can take in all of the nutrients.
He also told me, that since I have hyperthyroidism...all of the fatty foods that I have been eating have been doing me much more harm than good. My body absorbs the fat, and flushes the nutrients. Which is causing my cholesterol to skyrocket.
The test indicates that my cholesterol is at 172 (and the average is 125-170). My cholesterol was at 172 after I had gone over 16 hours depriving myself of food and drinks to prepare for the blood test. Meaning...throughout the course of the day, it's actually much higher than that. Aka this is possibly causing me to have tremors and up/down blood pressure.

On the brink of diabetes. Not good.
But the cure is a very strict, on the hour diet. I'm not allowed to eat burgers, cow meat, greasy foods, sweets, fatty substances, candy, milkshakes and ice cream on a daily basis...Even though I have constant cravings, I'm not allowed to eat everything I see anymore. :'(

I also pulled this quote of of Wikipedia, in reference to Low Carbon Dioxide counts in the body:
low carbon dioxide levels (e.g. from hyperventilation) cause the brain's blood vessels to constrict, resulting in reduced blood flow to the brain and lightheadedness
Hence my lightheadedness, passing out, and loss of eye sight.
