I tried to play this game; I barrowed it from one of my friends who loves FF very much. xD But as I played it, I got a major headache from it! e.e I wanted to play it so bad, but it kept making me dizzy and stuff... -Sigh.-

Probably it's the graphics...that sucks well you can always play for 15 minutes and then take a brake to see if you don't get dizzy, that's probably your eyes fault to, do you use glasses?

Are you sure it wasn't just the time you were playing it? Maybe you felt dizzy and somehow associated it with the game. Try playing it again and see if it happens.

When you're not used to playing older games it can do that to you. You just need to play it in little snippets until you get accustomed to the graphics - it's the same for people who aren't used to watching black and white films.

When I first played an Earthbound ROM, the battle screens would murder my eyes, but I got used to it. Now it's one of my fave games.

Well I was playing in on my PS2... I don't wear glasses though, I never need to. o.o

Dizzy huh... *shrugs* You might be sitting too close to your television. :monster:

Either way, it’s really not all that uncommon of a problem. Everyone reacts differently when exposed to certain patterns of flashing lights, some get migraine headaches, other like yourself get dizzy, while some people have serious seizures from it.

Anyway, if the game is making you dizzy, I’d play it in small doses taking a break every now and then...

I've been FF for so long, plus many other video games I just don't have this problem. Unless I play them too long at a time ._.

Try just turning the brightness down, and keep your room lights on. I used to get really bad migranes so I still have my pc monitor on really dull, and are you playing on a big screen? That can't help. I just get over paranoid about headaches lol

It's worth playing through a headache really. FFVI has the potential to be the best FF, if it was remade.
I used to get this with FFIV, but I know that was because of the grainy effect you got whenever you entered a room.
It was probably a mix of all the above things that caused it.

Your probably suffering through the dramatic changes between 3D graphics to 2D graphics. Your eyes need to adjust to 2D graphics.

I had the same problem when I first played 2D games. I would get a migraine from playing 2D games since I just played 3D games at the time. Just need to get through it and get your eyes adjusted to the screen. =/

yea your just not used to the difference in graphics, have you played many 2D games before?
