Old Tags/Sigs

This is a discussion about graphics, and it's nice to see how people have improved since they started, so I believe this is the appropriate place ^^


Now when I say old, I don't mean tags you've made, a week ago, or even a month ago, I mean ones you made when you first started out, or are just severely old and outdated, ones that embarrass you now

Unfortunately i deleted all of old stuff but they were pretty horrible. I even remember my first ever sig - A badly cropped image of Vivi saying some random quote in horrible stretched out text. It was a complete piece of crap made in paint shop but i loved it, lol. Good times.

Im going to revive this.
Mainly because I have no idea where else to showcase any sigs I've already done.
Here goes.

About 2 years ago. First battle ever. Laugh it up. I had no idea how to DL fonts, use brushes, and I played with filters like crazy. tbh, not much has changed in the way I make sigs.

This was for some competition at some other site and I was actually proud of this when I made it. Now its pretty meh.

This was a competition called 'Shiny tags!" cause all my tags were pretty shiny and I was known for my shinyness. So I made a shiny competition. Its good for what it was, but meh.

Hahahaha, I took a huge backstep with this one. Some annyoing brat kept annoying me to make her a sig so I churned this out really quickly.

I was using this one for a while. I enjoyed the simpleness of it. But a lot of people didnt like how I used only the body. I still cut off the head alot in my sigs, so poo poo on them.

Christmas Competition. It was simple and easy and I wanted to use pink. And I did.

Ughh. I got a virus that destroyed my computer. I couldnt find Photoshop for a while so I got stuck using GIMP. Lammmeee

Ok, this isn't a sig, but I figured I might as well include it. It was my first attempt at a wallpaper and the subject was Guild Wars. I'll link it cause its pretty big.

I really liked the BG i made for this and wish I would have kept the PSD image. But I put the low quality render over it and now Im stuck with it.

Dont remember why I made this. But I did. I like some of it and the rest is just ok.

Got bored and made this for the MGS Club here. I was just playing around with effects.

Most recent one I made for a battle. I was just getting out of my rut. I hadn't made a sig in a few months. Anyways, I was happy with the effect I did with the hair, but I couldn't do much else with the sig as a whole without ruining the focus and effect. So I left it pretty plain.

And yes, all my text sucks and Im still pretty amateurish.

Btw, Im so jealous of your early work AV. Makes me sad. I was never able to achieve that tech look
