I'm pretty sure of at least 1 guy who will read this LOL........Ohri-Jin, maybe.

Ahem, Yea so a s I was saying here is the link if you want to read about?http://www.dailygalaxy.com/my_weblog/2010/09/is-an-unseen-binary-companion-of-the-sun-sending-comets-towards-earth.html

But for those with a :tl;dr: thingo:hmph:........here is the abridged version:
Scientist have found a Stella object of extreme mass relatively close to the Sun, about 100,000AU(150mKx100,000) just outside off the Solar system
which maybe responsible for short period Comets being flung at Earth.......oh know:panic:

In laymans Terms, 100 Kilometer long Asteroids coming towards the Earth=BAD!

The Stars size is equal to Jupiter, but has 80-90 times the mass.
Gravitational eddies are dangerous because of the slingshot effect they have on the Asteroids outside of the Solar system.

What I want to know is..........how the fuck was this thing not found until recently? I would go on to why it was not found but........nobody cares lol

Edit: Sorry for not mentioning the name: Nemesis or The Death Star........:srsly:

Nothing's really been found yet though. Nemesis is still a speculative object as WISE has yet to really complete its search across the skies. I'm no astronomer, so I can't really say for myself whether or not it's possible for our solar system to be this stable if we actually have a binary star system. Sedna's orbit is strange, but then again as are many objects in the Kuiper Belt. For all we know, there could be a more complicated theory to explain Sedna's orbit.

As for why Nemesis (assuming that it exists, though I doubt it) hasn't been found yet, well - they say it's a brown dwarf. The amount of light it gives out is tremendously little when you compare this to the amount of light exuded by other stars out there. I wouldn't be surprised that no one can find an object as dim as Nemesis as of now, although I would have thought that there would be other ways of detecting the presence of a massive object this close to us without the need of its light.

Apparently not tho Flure......Visible light output by Brown Dwarfs is extremely low, so thermal imaging is needed and thats where WISE comes in..........I knew some one would care.

The presence of a Brown Dwarf this close to t the sun is very exciting it could lead to new theories of witch stella nursery our Sun Came from and pinpoint it its evolutionary past and future.

Nice call back with the sedna reference:D
