So who are the NPC's in the game?I know that Cid is the narrator and Locke is in the tutorial guide.

Any word of which Cid it is? like what FF he's from? Or does Dissidia have its own Cid? I wish the godamn game would come in the mail already! The wait is killin' me.

FF Wikia says that it is Cid from FF1, Cid of the Lufaine. There wasn't a Cid in the original FF1 I don't think, but they added one in in the PSP remake and referenced him and everything, and this is the Cid that is the narrator in this game.

Locke has a cameo? What does he do?

Umm....
When you press START in DFF, the in-game manual pops out. It's structured like a list - when u select something from the list, along with the explanation, a character's portrait/sprite/etc. is there, e.g. when viewing tips Selphie comes up, when viewing multiplayer artifacts Locke comes up (the irony!), when viewing main menu a crystal from V pops up.
So there are lots of them. They're not really npc-s.
