I don't know if anyone else has this problem but a lot of times I am annoyed by the NPCs bcause they get in the way and don't wanna move...
One time it got soooo bad I just wanted to kick something/someone in the rear end... (didn't do it if u r wandering) :afromad:

That did myhead in aswel, it was pretty much the same with all the older FF's I think, you wanna go down past a house, but there is some idiot walking back and forth in the way, so you have to wait patiently while they are stolling along. It really annoys me, even MORE so if there are TWO people blocking my path. WHY you cant just barge past them is beyond me -__-

I'm FAR too impatient.....

Aye, it bugs the hell out of me too. I hate it when they get in your way as your going behind a house or something and there is absolutely nothing you can do except wait for them to move. It also aggravates me when the area is two tiles wide and the NPC keeps changing direction as I try to get around it, so I end up going back and forth until finally it lets me through.

Another thing which is a little annoying is when I have to talk to someone and they just won't stay still, so I end up chasing them for a while.

I agree, it can be annoying with the NPCs....you may even have to walk a bit back just to let the NPC out of a corner so you can keep going...and agree with above, the NPCs that move really fast are a PAIN in teh butt to talk to, I have spent a minuet or so before I actually could talk to them

Yes, that annoys me so much. Sometimes I'd be stood there for minutes waiting for this one sodding NPC to move out of the way. It was quite awkward the way they were positioned in some towns =/ especially when they blocked the only path to your destination available.

In FFI the people usually moved in the direction you were running. That's how I forced them into corners xDDD
I put a Black Mage as my leader so I was hooded like a mugger then trapped an NPC in a corner :D Then I stole his wallet O_O

That's just another example of trial and error on SE's part. They've learned now. The NPCs were pretty annoying though. Sometimes they glitched too, I tried to talk to one once and he actually would not respond. It was a story guy too so I had to hard reset the system >_>

To be honest it didn't bother me much. Then again, I'm patient......very patient. Oh well :D

H-E-double hocky sticks

HAHA this thread reminds me of sooo many times where I just slam into them until they move. In FF6 you'll be running real fast cause of the sprint shoes and then dud... you have to come to a sudden stop and wait like at a red light or stop sign. This has always got on my nerves in the early "Legacy Installments" Final Fantasy games. I agree it is disturbing.

I really didn't have this problem in FFVI. I notice it in a few games (most recently Lost Odessey), but in FF's not so much.

I think the main game I can think of where this started to annoy me was in FFVII. I would be running though the Sextor 7 Slums and I'd go to run by some shmuck in the city and he'd keep walking in my way. If there was a button where I could bash teh guy over the head with a glass vase, I woulda mashed it.

Am i the only one around here who think's that this "Blocking your way by stupid NPC" is not annoying? :P

Well sometimes it is, but sometimes it just gives you the lulz
Lot of trash talking that is! :wacky:

I actually never had this problem, lol. Was I just lucky?

Eh, at least you can't walk through them. That makes it more 'realistic' I guess.

I really hated this. It always seemed to happen right when you need to get into a particular building or talk to a certain person. They would just keep on walking and you would have to keep running after them to talk to them. FFIV was really bad, sometimes I really just wanted to start a fight with some of the people who got in my way.
