We have a lot of comparison topics on these boards and they do get old... but this one is an original, I think. Final Fantasy VII has a "novelty" weapon for each character. They all have no materia slots and higher power than normal... but they're silly items. Which one was your favorite?

Lol, I'd have to say the Nailbat is the funniest, looks like Clouds about to smash through the ghetto ^_^ .

The umbrella is also pretty funny.
 
I like Cloud, Aeris' and Cids Best XD

Clouds makes him look like a baseball hooligan
Aeris' makes her look like a proper lady
And Cids makes me imagine him saying "And now you @#@#"" Floor! you will be @#@!# Clean!" XD
 
I like Cid's. He reminds me of myself. I always have to carry a mop around for about 15 minutes at work and get the job done. >.<
 
Plus you have a 5 o'clock shadow and smoke a cigarrette all the time. lol

I think I like the Vincent one. Just because it takes someone that is constantly refered to as "badass" and makes him out to be pretty wimpy.
 
I love Aeris's umprella and Cid's mop. I think vincents gun looks something like a space gun
 
Vincent's is funniest because silver rifle sounds quite, well Vincentish, then you realize its a water gun thing an he is so serious I could image him carying one, it made me laugh!
 
The umbrella is quite creative. I kind of imagine her flying away with it though.

I always thought that Cloud's nail bat was the stupidest weapon ever.

I do like Cids. His is probably my favorite.

So I guess Red XIII and Cait Sith don't get novelty weapons?

no Rydia, Cait sith and Red XIII do have novelty weapons - ill try and get pictures of them now for everyone, thanks to aztec telling us the names i just have to upload them onto FFVII with the jenova program :P watch this space XD

and Yuffies novelty weapon looks like it cost her a dollar, from one of those machine thingies XD very funny weapon though XD

Now face the power of my super boucy ball! XD
 
I think Cid fighting with a mop is pretty priceless but Clouds Nailbat is the best of all those crazy weapons.
