As the original FFVII came out at a time of new graphics, new style, new system, yet graphics and etc. that are clearly not up to speed with TODAY, there are obviously going to be a lot of changes from the VII we remember vs. what we witnessed in Advent Children.
I'm just wondering, though, are there any changes that either you a) thought were improvements over their counterparts in the game or b) were bad/ took you out of the moment and left you scratching your head or c) Just thought didn't make sense to be there.
For example, one of the changes that really struck me as odd was shoving materia into your skin in Advent Children, as oppose to just sticking in your weapon slots in the game.
On second thought, though, I decided that makes more sense, since materia is like, crystallized mako from the lifestream, and everyone is supposedly part lifestream anways.
On the flipside, I enjoyed seeing all the familiar places all revamped with new graphics, like the slums church and whatnot.
New updated music didn't hurt either.
Your opinions?
