What I find weird about this game is that there is no training mode so I guess you have to train in vs mode or duel colliseum. If there was a training mode it would be much better. Any thoughts on dissidia with no training mode? I though every fighting game had a training mode.

In Vs mode you can set the opponents level to 1 so i guess that can count as a training mode

No I do not think there will be a training mode in The american version. Oh and level 1 are not really considered as a training mode. There just to easy and die in one shot. I train against level 100's. Maybe because this is an rpg fighter is why there is probably no training mode. Well am not that bothered I guess I will kepp killing level 100's.

It doesn't bother me too much. I never bother with training mode in fighting games, although that could be why I generally suck at them. I'll probably just use duel/vs mode to practice.

Not having a training mode gives the game more thrill, IMO.

I would like to know the reason Square enix put no training mode. Oh also I think dissidia has an very easy level up system. So I guess there would be no point in taining. My tidus leveled up 35 times against a level 100 exdeath. Tidus is now level 100. Why would they put one in the american version id they did not put it in the japanese version?

I would have liked a training mode or a detailed tutorial, but they give you little more than blurbs of text. The fighting system be really confusing when you're first starting off. It took me a while to get the hang of it, and I can read Japanese.

when i played it (and it was funn............for 5 min.) I wanted a training mode, but really, actually fighting makes you better in that game, its realy easy people, you don't need a training mode imho

I hate training mode, it is useless for me cause i never play it :D always play VS mode :) Then i am happy that there is no Training mode!!! YEAH finally x)

How would a training mode even work for Dissidia's playing style?

How would you practice aerial combat? In most fighting games training mode just means the person sits there and let's you beat them up, if that were dissidia's style of training they would rarely stay in the air all that long because they'd just fall back down instead of prolonging their air time with various moves.

And much of Dissidia's combat involves avoiding attacks as well as making them. So we'd have to make the npc attack you in training mode. If we did that, it wouldn't really be all that different from just fighting a level 1 npc. :P
