Im currently fighting Crawler and I need the Lifesaver ( an alchemy weapon ) for Tidus. I tried killing Crawler w/ Tidus while having the other 2 ppl dead... but I still haven't gotten it and its already been like my 13th time fighting it. Can anybody give me any more ideas on how to increase the chances of certain drops?? ie. Lifesaver??

Hmm, I don't think there's really any secret in doing this at all. It's all based on luck and chance. Just keep trying again and again. Well actually, you might wanna wait until his HP is 100 or less...then have Tidus finish him off, while the other two in your party are dead.

Is it that thing near Macalania. I used Wakka on the negator and had tidus and Auron attack then summoned a meat sheild to take the laser damage.

Take out the negator first with an electro marble + 1 attack of wakka or auron.
Gatling gun should kill only one character in the worst scenario ( ifd you make sure your health is full at start and you put up some health strong characters : wakka and auron).
Make sure rikku's overdrive's gauge is fuill and attack with rolling thunder (mixing lightning + eclectro marble p.e.). This should deal around 6000 damage.
Now he'll get ready for his mana beam, this is easy if you get yuna's overdrive full or ixion's overdrive full: use ixion's thor's hammer and he should be dead

.ty everyone's grudge, but the thing I'm looking for is Crawler to drop "Lifesaver", not to beat him... because I can defeat him easily
And yes, he does drop "Lifesaver" because I've seen my friend do it before. I guess I'm gona have to try it over and over... but now its been like my 15th time... at least

hmm do you rlly need lifesaver? 
It doubles the potency of healing items but most healing items will alrdy heal your party to the fullest
