Nier Demo In The Pipeline! [5/14]

Nier has mixed reviews. Despite what reviewers had to say about the fetch quests (Nier, to some extent, is a Barbarian built errand boy), the story is interesting and drives the game.

Maybe people will feel differently about it if they play it? Square Enix thinks so because they’re developing a demo. Nier producer Yosuke Saito hopped on to Twitter to say he’s eating cold noodles and beginning work on an Xbox 360 demo. Saito also mentions “DLC” as another item in the works, but that shouldn’t be surprising since the first pack, The World of Recycled Vessel came out a few days ago.

Yes finally just what I needed to see of SE! Im glad there is a demo. I will play that first and then get the full game. YAY I hope its long.

Excellent! The reviews for this game have been far too harsh, in my opinion. Hopefully more people will realise how wrong those reviews are once they've had the chance to play the demo ♥

Something tells me it'll be the introductorary bit...that wouldn't be very long, but should be sufficient for people to get a feel for the game's combat system.

I'm quite interested in the DLC, however, they didn't have the full story when they published it. Apparently they're working on the 360 demo...in Japan. Which is quite strange since the 360 hardly shifts and consoles over there.

A 360 demo only? No mention of a PS3 demo? I guess we'll have to assume that SE plans on releasing a demo to get more copies of NieR Gestalt sold in Japan then. But I hope they consider a PS3 demo as well. I would love to try it before I consider getting the game later.
