New RP section

I don't like the new way it is set up. It seems less organized to have the discussions and sign ups in the same section. At least put a discussion section within the merged sections. It looks messy there now, and very confusing. I like the old way much better, so if you would be so inclined...could we get it back the way it was?

Not to be a dick, but... No. At least not for a while. I think this way will be better in the long run.

Here's my rationale behind it:

-No other forum has separate sub-forums for discussion threads. For example, Luca's writers' projects. The actual work and the discussion thread get put in the same sub-forum. The author will usually link the discussion thread in the work thread, and vice versa (Hint, hint). They'll also put [Story] and/or [Discussion] tags where appropriate in the thread titles (Hint #2).

-A separate sub-forum for discussion about a particular RP seems superfluous. Having to bounce in and out of two sub-forums while still thinking about the same RP just seems... too much effort. And you know me. The less effort, the better.

-This *should* eliminate a lot of the problems with RPs/threads being put in the wrong section. New members were often confused/overwhelmed by the different sections. Hell, it was a handful for me most of the time, and I live there.

We're gonna stick with this for a while. We'll revisit it down the road, and if it needs to be tweaked again, we may do that. But for now, give it a chance.

Well that may be your view, I stand by mine, I find it rather ugly and I can't find the will to really even click that section...If this comes up again, you know my vote...I like organization more...
