I was a member of a Kingdom Hearts forum and every time I would talk about Final Fantasy VIII (my fav) they would tell me it sucked and stuff like that.
So I decided to find FF based forums where there would probably be people that actually liked it that I could talk to. So here I am.

I love you. FFVIII is my fav too! It's a bromance kind of love. So don't expect any lovins.

If you can post like 4-7 times a day, maybe max, you might want to check out Final Fantasy: Player Vs. Player, a game my frAnd Janus created. You make your character, buy your gear with the 2k gold you're given, and post your desired sprite image, inventory, and class.

After that, you sign up for a battle, where other users have their characters and well, we kick the crap out of each other in 4 on 4 battles. It's great! If you're interested, click said Registration button in my siggy. I hope to see you there!
