I see they tried to make some of the music sound 8-bit or something. So I see they were really trying to evoke a nostalgic feeling of the old games through even the soundtrack as well.

I still lack real interest in this game though. I still find the art style rather atrocious to my eyes, which is a real shame considering nice, friendly sprite characters could have looked nicer.
