
When Nier was announced earlier this year by Square-Enix it was thought to be one multiplatform game for the PS3 and 360. However Square-Enix has since come out and announced that Nier will have two versions, with each console getting their own piece of Nier. The PS3 version will be named Nier RepliCant and Square-Enix have released the first screenshots and details for the game.
In Nier your are tasked with saving your sister from the “Black Sentence Plague”, which is an incurable illness. As your character moves forward in the story you will learn more about the world around you and the demon’s who have succumbed to madness.
Nier RepliCant is set to be released in 2010 and is being developed by Studio Cavia, who is best known for their work on Drakengard and Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles.
