Anime New Avatar series planned

I just orgasmed, I freaking loved the original television series and while the loosened ends of everything were supposedly tied altogether . . . still . . .

I always wondered what would happen to the gang after they settled into their new roles: Zuko as the new leader of the Fire Nation . . . Aang as the hero, and everyone else returning to the normalcy of their lives (somewhat). Korra supposedly might be mentored by Aang . . . hm . . . that would make Aang about eighty-two years old . . . physically. But in actuality he'd be a good 180-something years old biologically. Oooooold either way. Still, it would be interesting to see how his personality might have been affected due to the amount of time that had passed since the events of A:tLA. Either way Aang would have physically passed on at the time of the series. *sniffs*

And omfg, Katara and Aang had a son! Wow, Tenzin's definitely going to be badass, I can already feel it. He'll be a total BAMF. An old BAMF, since his dad and mom's gonna be long deceased, but a total BAMF nonetheless. I wonder what Zuko's great grandkids would be like, assuming he'd have any. . .

Hm . . . and what of Toph and Suki and Sokka? Hmm . . . I'm so excited for this, after the craptacular production that was the Airbender movie, this is definitely a breath of welcoming fresh air.
 
Ooh, I'm not sure if I like this or not. I LOVE the original cartoon, but I normally hate the idea of a series set in the same universe, but with different characters ><

I'll wait until I see it before I judge it, since the original cartoon was so excellent, but I'm not sure if I'll be a fan or not, the original characters were so good, and the storyline was excellent, so I really can't see how they'll top it :gasp:

I love the Avatar series. As a matter of fact, to this day, I still find episodes I haven't seen (I didn't watch the show when it first came out, but I catch them on NickToons now). I've seen most of them, and I want the DVDs so I don't have to wait for the good episodes to come on again. :wacky:
 
I actually started watching Avatar because my little brother did, and I'm so glad he begged me to sit down and watch it with him. :wacky: I looooove it. It's probably one of my favorite shows, and I really should get around to seeing the rest of them. XD

I'm not sure how I feel about a new series... I mean, the first was great. I'm going to TRY to watch this for sure, but I'm not sure I'll like it. I don't mind that it's a girl or that it's not going to feature the children of the main characters, but I do kinda wish Aang, Katara, Toph, Sokka, Zuko, Suki, etc, would return even just for cameos. =/ I'd like to see them all again. XD

hmm?? thats 75 years into tha future.....what about Prince Zuko's mother :(.

The storyline sounds amazing though, It feels a bit sci-fi and might still bear that sense of oldskoolfeeling and nostalgia from the old series..nice to see a female as main character.

It reminds me a bit of the storyline of FFX and a bit of Akira thrown in there...but I like those scenario's. Rebellion and secret shadows or assasins aspect etc.. im sure of it :D
 
I actually started watching Avatar: The Last Airbender recently, so I guess I'm looking forward to a new spin-off coming out soon.
 
Well, this is interesting. I'm kinda surprised though. The first Avatar series was great! I didn't watch it all too often, but it was pretty enjoyable. Well, we'll see if the sequel is just as good, I guess.
 
Yea, heard about this a long time ago. No much besides the first three episodes of 12 being done. Its said it'll only be a 12 episode thing :/

I'm guessing its book "Air". :>
