my geostigma theory

this is a post on my geostigma theory. i believe that geostigma itself is a large concentration of jenova cells in the "infected" persons body. the black spot(s) they have on their body is a very large amount of jenova cells coming together in one place. they may have got it because they came into contact with "infected" lifestream, but that says where it comes from, not what it is. i also believe that the reason so many people died from it is because their bodies couldn't handle the jenova cells. only a select few individuals can handle so much jenova cells in them and live. ( sephiroth, zack, cloud, genesis, angeal) anyways, that is my theory on geostigma. does anyone else agree?

Those black spots are not a concentration of Nova Cells...
And according to the wiki...the geostigma itself is triggered by Sephiroth..

The rest I agree, cause Cloud etc,, already had Jenova cells because they were clones? Im not sure though...

if those black spots aren't large amounts of nova cells, then what are they? and cloud IS a sephiroth clone. they say so in the game. i think they were always clones but after nibelhiem, the experiments they performed on cloud made him more connected to sephiroth than anyone else.

Cloud was never a clone before the Nibelheim incident as there were no Jenova Cells in him it was only after the experiments were done on him that Sephiroth was able to manipulate him.

I kind of agree with you but the Geostigma was a disease that the body could never get rid of so an infected person's defense system was fighting a battle it was going to lose so their body would overcompensate and start to shut down thats why so many people died. I always thought the infected area was like that part of the body starting to deteriorate and as they became more infected the infection would start to spread till there body would give up.

Sephiroth, Cloud and the rest had a controlled amount of Jenova Cells put in them but yes an over dose of Jenova Cells and the person starts to turn into a monster and die cause there body can't take it
