Does anyone else feel that this scene is underrated in the world of videogames?

Even when you are talking about FFVI and its story people seem to forget this scene and it's importance (maybe they didnt have the same reaction as mine)........But comparing it with the Aerith's death I think this is a LOT more sadder, than seeing some flower lady die.

Whaddya think?

I think it has more depth to it and is definitly sad. But let's remember that Celes was willing to kill herself, Aerith's life was taken (though she was willing to kill herself as well lol).

I agree with you. When speaking about FFVI moments, its often forgotten or underrated. I think a lot of people miss the important and the feeling behind the scene and what Celes was feeling and what she was afraid of. She lost she lost her friends and her love/r Locke as well as who she thought was the last person on the planet.

I can only imagine what the scene would invoke if a remake was ever made or what it would look like then and if it wouldn't be underrated anymore...

*I remember every scene in FF6, nothing escapes me xD*

Why people forget this scene is because you can choose to save Cid by feeding him fast fish...and this one is her giving up hope not hanging on to any hope or anything so I really thought this was a bad played out scene.

the most underrated one in my mind is this one

Warning Spoilers in this video

It is actually my most memorable moment in my entire life of gaming! But yes, it is underrated because most people tend to save Cid rather than let him die, it's just too sad. But that moment if Cid die actually made the story MUCH MORE BETTER, especially when Celes see Locke's bandana on the seagull, the light of hope in her heart really made a great moment!

Not to mention the theme of Celes that start playinh when she realize Cid die, that always break my heart to watch.
