What do you consider to be the most memorable/famous part in each FF Game?

FFI - For me the most memorable part was the class upgrade. Haven't completed the game yet though.

FFII - For Me. Josefs Death. Again Game Not Completed.

FFIII - i Haven't played enough of it to choose.

FFIV - Tellahs Death

FFV - Galufs Death

FFVI - The Opera

FFVII - Aeriths Death

FFVIII - ...End of Disk one for me. Haven't completed this game either.

FFIX - Bahamut VS Alexander / Your Not Alone!

FFX - Suteki Da Ne

FFXII - The Ending - Kiss Me Goodbye.

Discussion of the most memorable is encouraged ^_^
 
Well, I've never played all of the FF's so I'll just list the ones I've played, if that's alright.

VI - Opera Scene (never finished this game though)

VII - Aerith's death, what else?

VIII - Hmm, toughy. It would have to be the whole battle scene with Galbadia and Balamb Gardens, but only because I can't remember anything else. xD

IX - The ending, Melodies of Life is awesome. -b

X - The whole scene in the lake, as well as the ending. Unforgettable moments, those were.
 
IV - the reappearance of rydia, shes awesome ^_^

V - galuf's death, cant remember much else from it

VI - general leo's death, i was so pissed >_<

VII - obviously aerith's death, tragic :sad2:

VIII - esthar, one of FF's best cities

IX - the ending, my personal favorite

X - macalania scene. and the ending, it was so sad :sorry:

XII - also the ending, it was the best part of the game

FFVII-Aerith's death......i found it unexpected....

FFVIII-Haven't finished it yet...not really that memorable...

FFIX-Fighting Kuja, epic...

FFX-Geez, it has to be that Tidus and Yuna scene in the Macalania Woods.

FFX-2-Ha, probably selling the darn thing at my local game shop...

FFXII-It was all the same really, Getting the Tournesol i suppose:P
 
For XII i was also thinking of Ashe's meeting with the Occuria, or the rising of Sky fortress Bahamut, they were amazing scenes. Or the explosion of the Leviathon.

Except of course that they don't have the amazing music of Kiss Me Goodbye.

I really need to replay FFXII...
 
yes, AG, that is a good song i have it on my ipod ^_^

also for XII, perhaps the scene where reddas gives his life?
 
Ah, i'd forgotten all about Reddas' death, yes, that could also deserve an honourable mention ^_^

Frans scene on the Leviathon also springs to mind when i think of XII...

Has anyone else noticed that most of the most memorable scenes seem to be connected to death?
 
FFI- Possibly the ending when you read the text scroll

FFIII- Having to fight Doga and that other lady

FFIV- Either Cecil becoming a Paladin or Rydia returing to save everyone

FFV- Galuf's death

FFVI- Very middle of the game where the world is destroyed

FFVII- Aerith's death

FFVIII- End with Laguna and Raine

FFIX- The Bahamut vs. Alexander fight

FFX- End with Tidus and Yuna

FFXII- None of it

 
FFI - ……None.

FFII - ……None.

FFIV - ……None.

FFV - Good game, but none.

FFVI - A very good game, but nothing memorable.

FFVII - Meteor vs. Holy and the scene at the very end with Red XIII.

FFVIII - Deling City, Esthar, The Ballroom Dance Scene, The Lunar Cry FMV & the entire ending FMV.
FFIX - The destruction of Alexandria & Memoria.

FFX - The destruction of Zanarkand, Suteki Da Ne FMV

 FFXII - The entire beginning FMV, the destruction of the Leviathan & the entire Bahamut FMV Ending.
 
FFI - Going to the floating continent thing.

FFII - The temptation of the princess (really a naga in disguise).

FFIV - Cecil's change from Dark Knight to Paladin, or perhaps the Tower of Zot.

FFVI - Celes taking a "leap of faith" on the Solitary Isle.

FFVII - Tifa in the Lifestream, helping Cloud sort out his memories.

FFVIII - Squall crossing the Horizon Bridge with Rinoa, and finding her in space.

FFIX (haven't finished the game) - The part where Eiko writes a love letter and different people keep thinking it's for them.

FFX - The ending where Yuna tries to go to Tidus as he disappears, but she just goes through him.

FFXII - My shock at finding out Larsa was a boy.
 
FFI - The job change.

FFII - Minwu's Death. what a waste! (If I didn't know about SoR :sneaky:)

FFIII (NES) - When you get out of the floating continent and find the wrecked ship of Elia.. I haven't finished this.

FFIV - (haven't played it myself)

FFV - Galuf's death hands down for me.

FFVI - When Celes woke up after the destruction of the world and discovers everything. This is one of the most memorable part in FF history, I think.

FFVII - Cloud telling his(
as Zack
) story in Kalm inn. I haven't gone up to Aerith's death..:dry:

FFVIII - Crashing in FH. the town music is so catchy. haven't finished disk 1.

FFIX - hmmm..... aside from the ending? it's gonna be everything from Evil Forest. or maybe I need some time to reminisce.

FFVII - So far, the part where Cloud falls near the beginning. xD

Most memorable FMV- The ballroom scene.
Most memorable non FMV - The scene on the Ragnorak.

FFIX - Erm. The Ending. I haven't actually finished the game, but I've seen that scene. xP

FFX - ... This whole darn scene *tries to remember the best lines and uses a recorded clip to help*
Yuna: I always thought this would be easier somehow. With all my friends to help me. I've been trying so hard.
Tidus: Maybe you've been trying too hard. They told me... Everything.
Yuna: Everything?
*Tidus nods*
Yuna: Well, so then...you know.
Tidus: Yeah...I'm sorry.
*Yuna turns to Tidus*
Tidus: It's just y'know...all those things I said. Like "let's go get Sin" or about Zanarkand... I didn't know what would happen to you, Yuna. I guess... I hope it didn't make you sad.
Yuna: I wasn't sad. I was happy!

(Skip ahead a few lines)

Tidus: Hey! Zanarkand! Let's go to Zanarkand!
*Yuna looks puzzled*
Tidus: Er...Not the one in Spira! The one I'm from!
Yuna: Uh-huh.
Tidus: Yeah!...We can...fly there! Everyone can go! Then...We'll have a big party at my place.
Yuna: And then we could see Blitzball!
Tidus: That's right!
Yuna: We could all watch you play in the stadium all lit up at night. I'd cheer and cheer 'til I couldn't cheer anymore!
Tidus: Right on!
Yuna: What about after the game?
Tidus: We'd go out and have fun.
Yuna: In the middle of the night? :-)O)
Tidus: Yeah. Zanarkand NEVER sleeps! Let's go to the sea... Before the sunrise. The city lights go out one by one... The stars fade. Then the horizon glows, almost like it's on fire! It's kinda...rose coloured, right? First in the sea, then it spreads to the sky, then to the whole city. It gets brighter and brighter till everything glows! It's really...pretty. I know you'd like it.
*a single tear falls into the water*
Tidus: Yu...?
Yuna: I can't. I just can't.... I can't go!!

*cue the Spring FMV and Suteki Da Ne*

Yuna: I'll continue. I must!
Tidus: Mmmm.
Yuna: If I give up now... I could do anything I wanted to...and yet... Even if I was with you, I could never forget.
Tidus: I'll go with you! I'm your guardian!! Unless I'm...fired?
*Yuna shakes her head and laughs*
Yuna: Stay with me...Until the end...Please.
Tidus: Not until the end. Always!
Yuna: Always then.

And the ending! ^_^

FF X-2: 1000 words. And the part where you follow the Moogle around Luca. Yuna remembers moments from when she was with Tidus. It almost made me cry. :worried:

FFXII - The scene where Vaan is hanging from Balthier's small aircraft and "Ashe remembers Recks".

FFVII- Obviously Aeris' death (one of the most touching and iconic scenes in FF) and the ending.

FFX- The spring scene and the ending (FF has marvellous endings IMO)

FFVIII- haven't finished it but the ballroom scene strikes me as memorable.
