More Final Fantasy XIV alpha screens to gaze upon [4/19]

I must apologize. It seems that over the past week or so, there’s just been too many screenshots coming out of the Final Fantasy XIV closed alpha test. But, we can’t just sit here and not give them to you, right?

So here are more! You know the deal: massively-multiplayer online role-playing game, Final Fantasy, a nice big helping of awesome.

Glad to see Eorzea still has some familiar elements from Vana'diel. I'd recognize that those crafting guild signs anywhere.
Also, seeing that Lalafell with a mustache and goatee made my brain explode.

I never bought XI because of the cost of MMORPGs, but this game just looks great so far! I might just change my policies on MMORPGs just for this game lol. I just hope they make the job classes pretty balanced in this one. I heard XI struggled with that issue until expansion packs came into the equation.

These ingame screens look awesome, although some backgrounds are pretty simplistic, the details of the characters themselves are incredible.

I have a question though, will FFIV be a console MMORPG as well? or just PC?
P2P I cant really afford anyway but still if it will be on the ps3 maybe I'd consider paying for it.

FF XIV is for the PS3 and PC right?. These screens are really awesome!. So detailed.. And it looks a LOT better than FF XI(I've only seen it but never got the chance to play it)..
I'll definitely buy and play this game if I have money to pay and play.. But sadly.. Saving money is really hard and I'm a spendthrift...

The FMV screens look beautiful and lush as always. As for the in-game screens, the backgrounds seem to lack in a similar wow factor as well. I guess it's probably not a good interpretation from a simple screenshot and I'm sure Eorzea looks absolutely spectacular.

Those getting this - I hope it's good. I'm not a fan of MMORPGs at all and I have no consideration in paying a monthly fee to play this when I'll probably no time. xD

Yup - at the moment that is. I'm sure SE is keen to have it out for the Xbox 360 as well, although they've run into a slight dead end with Microsoft's Xbox Live policy. It could be possible that the Xbox 360 gets FFXIV as well.

It will most likely be at some point, but at the moment, no. Something about Xbox Live policies and that Square Enix has issues with them which stops it being produced for the 360 until it's solved. Something along those lines anyway.

Hm, I'm really liking that interface..looks so much better than that mid 90's looking one from XI.

Features from Vana'diel are a plenty as well, the character designs look pretty close as well.

Overall nice. I wanna play! ;-;
