I'm on Disc 2 at the Missile Base and for some reason I can't progress. I went down the stairs and came to the first soldier near the red light. It gave me three options and I chose the "act cool" option or something like that. Every soldier I've talked to just keeps repeating the same thing over and over again and I can't get the one in front of the stairs to move out of my way. I've checked the control panel by the Missile Launch room but it says Authorization Required, so I can't access it. Have I done something wrong? Can anybody please help me out? I'd appreciate it...thank you.

Do you need to do that bit that's like to the left and down from hat monitor? where there are 2 guys skiving off and ask you to check the maintenance or whatever it is? They send you to that room near where that first guy is I think, or you talk to them, then talk to the guys in the missile launch room, then back to them then to that room....?

it's one of the reasons why I just get so frustrated with replaying FFVIII. I always get stuck on the missile base and in Balamb when you're looking for Fuijin and Raijin... >_>
