A chav who can hear everything that people are thinking, a shy guy who can become invisible, a shamed athlete who can turn back time, a girl who can invoke thoughts of lust upon contact and an Irish guy who can do ... nothing so far. It can only be Misfits!

I've really been getting into the show. It's a brilliant mix of Teenage drama and Sci-Fi action, really pulled of nicely (X-Men for cool people!) I'm currently awaiting the 3rd episode, 5 minutes left :gasp:.

So far, both episodes have made me lol with it's amusing and accurate dialogue and also put me on the edge of my seat with the tension of the moments. It'll definitely be controversial too :wacky: 5/5 so far.

My cousin has been trying to get me into it. Said I would love it, but it doesnt seem the sort of thing I likes. Shes mentioned a werewolf and a naked man and some guy was sleeping with a young woman who suddnely became old!! Doesnt sound like something Id like to be honest. Hate chavs lol.

Ive watched like, the first 15 minutes of this one thats on now, and I cant say it's doing anything for me so far, the only laugh ive had is the weirdo with the curly hair on roller skates. It just feels abit like its trying to hard to be funny, its just a bit....shit

Finally got round to seeing the last few episodes and I was very impressed overall! There's going to be a second series aired next year, which makes me extremely happy with the ending they gave us. To have Nathan
immortal
was just one of the funniest things of that last episode. I kind of saw it coming when
he was impaled by the spike when he fell off the building
and thought, 'He has to have a power! He must!'

I don't think I'll look at community service offenders the same way again lol. :wacky:

That's exactly the feeling I've been getting. I haven't actually watched it, so I can't say that on faith but from the trailers it looks a bit over the top and bordering pretentious. If there's absolutely nothing else on I may take a look at it, but I won't be going out of my way to watch it.

"Save me Barry!"
I absolutely loved this, even though it's got a short length. It will really make you laugh on occasions and surprise you at some parts. I feel the show's got some good story, though the things I still don't understand are:

Who is Super-hoodie? (The one with the orange hoodie that saves Nathan.)

Who was the one putting notes in their lockers?

That line cracked me up, too. :wacky:

I believe the super-hoodie could be one of those affected in the storm, who may know the offenders. And as for person putting notes in their lockers, I do believe it was the next social worker. She only wanted to find out where her boyfriend really was and scare the offenders.
