This is a fanclub for the game Final Fantasy IX. I personally feel that this is the most underrated game in the series. After talking to Mystique about this game on MSN, we decided that FFIX needed it's own special club so it can get the love that it deserves. :D

So join if you love Final Fantasy IX!

Feel free to post fanart, banners, or graphics of anything relating in anyway to FFIX.

And also feel free to discuss characters, the story, pairings, or anything else that pertains to FFIX.

It's been 5 years since I've played this game until just a few days ago when I finally got my own copy! Brand new and everything! I was the first one to touch it and play it *orgasm* Anyway xD I love this game so much! I forgot how much I love this game! Garnet's my favorite character, followed by Vivi and Zidane. I absolutely LOVE GarnetxZidane. They are the sweetest FF couple to ever touch Final Fantasy. This game needs more recognition and more love. It's seriously a very underrated game that should be overrated like FFVII! I love the pure Fantasy aspect it gives off while playing and the world is just so beautiful. <3 I don't think I could honestly ask for more.

Yes Zidane and Garnet are by far the best Final Fantasy couple. :D What I really loved was how progressive their relationship was and how the two weren't instantly in love when they first met. Inspite of this, the writers did a very good job of developing their relationship even though it did start off a bit rocky. Garnet was annoyed by Zidane and Zidane just wanted to get laid. XD It was really sweet to see how the two slowly grew closer to each other, and who can not love that ending. :D

Here is a very good Zidane and Garnet music video. It was made by Soul0st.

It's been a few years since I played the game, but it's definitely one of my all time favorites.

Taking the ideas used in past FF games and used in a newer graphical setting was very nice.

Each character had their own personal stories and drama, and managed to tie in with each other around the end.

The overly cartoon styled sprites was a change from FFVIII, but there was more detail seen.

As well, it has such a nice ending. Cliche, but who care?!

I want to join, IX is my 2nd/3rd favourite FF game, and I'm playing through it for the 3rd time at the minute, and loving every minute of it ^_^

Where do I sign up? :D

This is definitely my favourite Final Fantasy game. Sure, it has its faults, but very few! I really wish it received the credit that it deserves. Zidane, Garnet and Vivi are my favourite characters.

I love how it returns to FF's roots. All of the little nods towards previous games makes the whole thing more ... lovable? Even though it was mainly fantasy, I'm surprised at how many people don't notice the modern and futuristic elements of it. Memoria, anyone? Parts of it, primarily the Crystal World, seemed as if you had just walked into space. Also, the Invincible. That's a pretty baddass futuristic airship.

But, that's me just being the resident FFIX fanboy. I shall shush now ^_^

FFIX was my first FF game (I have my brother to thank for buying it in the first place) and it's the reason why I fell in love with the series. Wonderful game, with excellent characters like Vivi (I even like Quina!). The soundtrack is great too.

Sign me up!

Oh yay moar members! Don't forget that Kuja is like...the sexiest villan to ever grace an FF game. <3

Quina is....very odd xD

I'd like to join.

Easily my favorite Final Fantasy game with easily the best FF couple in Zidane and Garnet. Though I'm all for some fanfiction where they both aren't very faithful to one another. (*cough* ZidanexKuja GarnetxBeatrix *cough*)

Speaking also of the title of this club, FFIX had one of the best soundtracks in FF as well.
Kuja's intro, made awesome in no small part due to his kickass theme.
