May i make a suggestion please?

My suggestion is that when we post in the club sections it actually gets added to our post count.

Because ive noticed that a few clubs either become inactive after awhile or contain about 3 pages of "can i join?" with a few comments about the character thrown in every now and again. i think that if the posts we made in the club section were added to our post count it would encourage people to actually post more in the clubs section.

*shrugs* just a sugestion, im sorry if theres a sticky thread or something explaining why they dont get added to our post count i couldnt find it.

I doubt that not adding to post counts puts people off RPGs, most likely they just get bored of it after a while.

From what I've seen, posts as of late have been quite spammy in clubs. Usually a lot of small talk, going off topic even, and not many productive posts.

I have to agree with Vegnya on this one, especially with the anti-clubs, there tends to be slightl flaming towards the character, etc...going on. Since it's pretty much just for fun or ranting, I don't feel it's necessary that those clubs be added into post count.

Afraid I'll have to agree with Vegnya, too. There's a reason why there is no post count for the clubs and it's because there's mainly spam only posted there.

You know that the forum descriptions -ALWAYS- tell you which forums/sub-forums do not incur a post count, right?

Having the posts at club forums count would be like giving free posts to members that use the Club Forums to spam. Yeah I know that some clubs, like The Light and Darkness Club, have some interesting topics and posts that aren't considered as spam. My clan thread is located in this area, and sometimes we have some random topics and we try to avoid it at all cost of course.


Threads like "Anti-Character Clubs" are used most of the time for pointless flaming towards characters. On that I have to agree with both LA and Vegnya.

The only possible solution I see to omit the problem is to place a character minimum on all posts in the club section.
Then it might be a possibility to add them to your post count.
That's just an idea though...

hmmm... i don't think that is going to work, then people will just start typing random stuff to try and get the letter up, then there will be hell to pay... and i mean that literally
