Max Payne Movie

Anyone else seen the advert for this? It looks good but they've so totally got the wrong actor to play Max. I really hope this doesn't follow the cliche that most Game Movies do. Great game to extremely shite movie :/

I've never played the game, but have heard of it. When I went to see Bond and The Mutant Chronicles, I was blown away by the trailer. I hope it lives up to the game if it's really good at all.

I'm actually interested to hear what people have to say about this movie. I've never played any of the original games. The games honestly do not seem that good and from what I understand, they're far too short to justify the pricetag. Still, the games seem to have a huge cult following. I'm definitely not a fan of vg/movie crossovers but it will be interesting to see this movie's reception.

I can't say I'm too excited by it. The current record for game to movie conversions is poor. And by that I mean none have been good. And then Mark Wahlberg is playing Max Payne, who's a bit of a poor actor at the best of times (Shooter not included). So I'll be steering well clear of this.
