A common thing I seem to hear about the first Mass Effect game is that the beginning is too slow and they lost interest because of it. I honestly do not see where they are getting this idea. I played the first game and I didn't find the beginning slow at all. It was a fair build up to the action and I was sucked in pretty quickly. Did anybody else find the game slow at the beginning? Why and why not?

I thought the beginning was pretty good. Going down to Eden Prime, fighting the Geth, getting to the beacon and all that. Maybe they mean once you get back to the Citadel? Once you get to that point, the game certainly starts to show its RPG side much more than it did on Eden Prime and it is pretty slow paced.
